Microsoft to Cut 15,000 Jobs

Microsoft has announced starting Jan 15 09 it will begin to cut 15,000 jobs, almost 17% of the companies 90,000 strong workforce. The layoffs will come from many Microsoft divisions that are underperforming. Job cuts in stronger divisions including the Xbox division will probably not see cuts.
