TomTom has unveiled the GO 740 LIVE GPS navigation system. The new system features live traffic information, including conditions, and accidents reported. It also uses GPRS data to retrieved your location faster and find more optimal routes. The device will also come with Google local search. The TomTom GO 740 LIVE is set to launch in North America in spring for $499, which includes a one-year subscription to the TomTom Live service. Subscription costs were not disclosed.
