Despite the downturn in the economy, NBC says it is not having any difficulties selling ads for the Super Bowl, which will take place on Feb 1 in Tampa Florida. There are 67 advertising spots available, a 30-second spot will set back advertisers $3 million this time around, probably reaching more than 97.5 million viewers. FedEx and GM have both opted out of advertising this year likely because of the current economic conditions. Returning advertisers include Hyundai, E*Trade, Coca Cola, GoDaddy, among others.
