U.S. Could lose 2 million Jobs in 2009

A new report published by private research group, The Conference Board, has published a report citing the U.S. could lose up to 2 million jobs in 2009. Its Employment Trends Index was down to 99.6 in December 2008, and has been down for 17 straight months. The index is now at a 10 year low. 2008 saw one of the biggest job losses in the U.S., a total of 2.6 million lost jobs.
