Google Ends Print Ads Program

googlelogo Google Ends Print Ads ProgramGoogle has announced today it would discontinue its Print Ads program on Feb 28, 2009. Google cited weaker than expected performance in revenue for partners. Google said “while we hoped that Print Ads would create a new revenue stream for newspapers and produce more relevant advertising for consumers, the product has not created the impact that we…wanted,” Program partners include the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times, among other 800 or so partners.
