There are rumors Apple may soon be prepping a premium games section on iTunes. The games would sell for probably more than $10, even topping $20. Apple seems to be pushing the iPhone more and more of an gaming device, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they’re diversifying into this space. In the future, mobile phones will clearly be used for gaming, so its not surprising to see Apple try to establish its self here early on with premium downloadable games on its excellent platform. Premium games are already available on mobile phones including on Nokia’s N-GAGE platform.
