Panasonic to Announce Massive Q4 Loss

Electronics maker Panasonic is reported to announce a massive $3.89 billion loss stemming from restructuring charges and slumping sales as a result of the global economic crisis. The company is still believed to net an operating profit for the period. Last year, the Panasonic had a $3.16 billion record profit. Panasonic will officially announce its quarterly earnings February 4, 2009.
