Skype has been upgraded to version 4.0 that includes many great new features. Most noticeably, it includes a new more intuitive user interface. In addition, the video resolution has been upped, and Skype now claims it offers the best-ever sound compared to previous versions. Skype now also has a bandwidth manager that helps optimize quality based on usage. The new release only supports Windows, no information is available relating to a Mac or Linux release.
