Shazam is a mobile service that lets you discover music from your mobile phone. The service currently supports phones offered from 75 carriers across 60 different countries. You can easily use Shazam on your iPhone as well. Shazam is experiencing robust growth, the company says it now has 35 million users and was able to add 20 million users since September. The company also claims 1 million tracks have been tagged worldwide, and expects its app to have 50 million worldwide users by 2009. Shazam also just updated its iPhone app, which now supports the iPod touch with new features. Shazam also has a paid service “ShazamiD‘, which lets you find track information and album art by playing a certain song, that service is currently only available in the UK.
