You can now easily navigate your friends’ status updates and also switch to full screen view when reading profiles. The app now also lets you save messages and send them later. It also delivers notifications to your BlackBerry a lot faster, but not as fast as the Facebook app on the BB. MySpace is certainly used more by artists and bands, and now the new update let’s bands post dates, address, and ticket prices of venues straight from the app. You can also update your status and view/send bulletins and photos. The update also now includes German, Spanish, Italian, and French support.

An upgrade to the Facebook BlackBerry app is also expected within the coming weeks. The new Facebook BB app will include many new features including the ability to sync your Facebook contacts with your BB and Outlook, and will let you add profile pictures as your friends caller ID picture.
