JD Supra is a fairly new start-up founded in 2008 by lawyer Aviva Cuyler. It is aiming to bring free access to court filings, contracts, and other legal documents to the world for free. The company says it has almost 1,000 legal contributors right now and various law firms and organizations contributing to adding content. There is also a Facebook application where you can share your documents from your Facebook profile.

There are many other paid services such as LegalZoom that essentially offer the same service, its great to see another service (especially a free service) spring up in this space that will only lead to more innovative offerings. Via
