Microsoft redesigns MSN, Bing search market share up

Microsoft Corporation today launched a redesign of its popular Internet portal MSN.com.

The company has updated the site with a far more simple and clean design, along with new social networking features that display information from various social networks you set up such as Facebook and Twitter. A new featured called TrendWatch was also implemented, which essentially scans Twitter for local news content.

The company has also now implemented full Facebook support.

Microsoft has also made Bing search more visible, hoping more people will use Bing to search for online content. Microsoft is also hoping the redesign will help increase its market share of online search by attracting more people to MSN.

According to the latest search engine market share figures released today by ComScore, Bing now holds 11.5-percent of the total market in the U.S. as of February 2010, compared to only 8.2-percent in 2009. As of February 2010, Google remains the search leader with a 65.5-percent market share as of February 2010. Yahoo and Ask.com were the only major competitors to have a net decline in their market share in February.

Colon cancer is one of the leading causes of death. Irrespective of family history, everyone is exposed to the risk. About 90% of colon cancer cases begin from non-cancerous tumors, polyps, which could form in the large bowel. Screening with a colonoscopy will painlessly remove any polyps hence almost entirely reducing your risk of developing the horrible disease. The good news is that about 90% of colon cancer cases are preventable through a simple (yes, simple) colonoscopy.
